Yah-Hanna was born and raised on a small island in the West Indies, St. Kitts. She graduated from the City College of the City University of New York with a BA in International Studies and English Literature. After marrying her husband in 2013, she decided to continue her graduate career at Grand Valley State University, receiving a Master of Public Administration.
Yah-Hanna currently serves on the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance and Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates boards. She also sits on the City of Holland’s International Relations Commission and the Holland Young Professionals Membership Committee. Before joining Good Samaritan Ministries, Yah-Hanna was the Development Director at the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance.
Yah-Hanna is excited to join the Good Sam team as she will have an opportunity to continue working alongside a group of passionate committed individuals who have a strong desire to see that everyone has an opportunity to thrive in this community.
